Eventually even the oil won't help. One of the worst kitchen utensils I ever bought.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14677416277898128901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8687267528879072067.post-29940267872973144462014-10-08T14:20:33.694-07:002014-10-08T14:20:33.694-07:00$4 for rib-eye shabu meat? It is already one of my favorites! We were at a shabu shabu restaurant last night and discussed the possibility of making it at home so we can have it more often. I was researching it online and stumbled on your post. Thank you for providing such careful instructions and beautiful photographs so we will be able to make shabu shabu at home too! I used commercial ponzu sauce just because I had some around, but I made the sesame sauce using your recipe and my girlfriend and I loved it! I'll have to look for the shingiku next time -- I've never had it before.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16682538448911938514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8687267528879072067.post-35535693580740196962013-02-26T18:49:28.473-08:002013-02-26T18:49:28.473-08:00and if you write "your" when you really ...and if you write "your" when you really mean "you're" then you're writing it wrong.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8687267528879072067.post-28543693485019767712011-01-30T19:53:21.308-08:002011-01-30T19:53:21.308-08:00My hunch was correct. Karen came over to our house for a shabu-shabu dinner with my daughter-in-law, Grace when they attended Pepperdine. We loved meeting Karen and will see her this weekend at my home for Grace's baby shower. I'm glad Karen suggested I look up your blog. I'll definately be a follower. Keep up the great work.
--Lillian MerrittUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06349803995367509281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8687267528879072067.post-25469490061589865712011-01-24T22:30:47.678-08:002011-01-24T22:30:47.678-08:00Ponzu is pronounced, "po-n_zu" there is ...Ponzu is pronounced, "po-n_zu" there is no, "ah" sound. If your saying the, "po" like in the word 'pond' your saying it wrong. My personal favorite is mixing 5/8 Ponzu sauce with 3/8 miso/sesame with green onion and daikon of coursewes hamachihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13220811610896787468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8687267528879072067.post-77984100318459930772011-01-24T18:08:30.087-08:002011-01-24T18:08:30.087-08:00Love the post...miss the evening already....I was ...Love the post...miss the evening already....I was talking about it at work today. I know you have an herb garden that you utilize often. I would be interested to hear what herbs are best to grow at home rather than to buy at the store. I enjoy basil on lots of different meals and having a fresh supply on hand seems like a good idea if it isn't too hard to take care of.

Thanks in advance!Rick Fujimotohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08312046164900936795noreply@blogger.com
